Most of the core structure is fabbed and assembled.  The float are filled with foam to make them unsinkable. The structure was designed for quick assembly/disassembly using few tools.

A turbine section dissassembled and ready for transport.  Meanwhile, the electronics and final fabrication continued on the center throughout the night and morning before launch.

This pile of electronics and wires became a complete redundant telemetry and computer system in about 6-8 hours.  There was a lot of improvising, and the computers failed to communicate with each other, but they both worked independently.

In this picture we are trying to free up the anchor line.  From the sonar images, it was apparently caught on a large boulder resting at the bottom of the lake.  We freed the line and continued toward the approved site.
